1920 The company was founded as a technical precious stones dealer in the precious stones metropolis of Idar-Oberstein and sold agate mortars for production of "powders" to pharmacists and chemical laboratories.
1955 In the mid fifties FRITSCH is already one of the specialists in the application laboratory.
1962 Introduces the first self-developed patented FRITSCH Planetary Mill. Additional technological developments follow.
1985 The start into high-tech laser technology with an important milestone: the first laser particle sizer with convergent laser beam.
1996 Followed by the Sieve Shaker with natural resonance control as well as the Planetary Mono Mill as FRITSCH developments.
2007 Introduces FRITSCH the PULVERISETTE 7 premium line. Due to innovative, lowerable grinding bowls allow for the first time rotational speed up to 1100 rpm and offers ultra-fie grinding results into the nano range.
